‘TIS THE SEASON for brilliantly creative Christmas trees.

But it’s not often you see someone take a regular-style tree and blow your mind.

Introducing Canadian Twitter user @aidanswalt, whose partner spotted this lovely 20ft Christmas tree this week and decided to buy it

And, given the natural constraints of the house, they had to cut the top off and stick it on the roof of their house – so it looks like it goes all the way through

GENIUS.

Aidan tweeted the two shots out on Monday – and it’s been retweeted over 40,000 times. This evening, it hit the front page of Reddit as the internet applauds some Christmas tree originality.
