THE CASTING OF 50 Shades of Grey has been much talked about since the books became a phenomenon last year.

Among those rumoured to be playing the main characters were Emma Watson, Cara Delevingne, Mila Kunis, Jake Gyllenhaal and Channing Tatum. Now, the speculation can end, as EL James has confirmed via Twitter who will be playing Christian and Anastasia – Charlie Hunnam and Dakota Johnson.

So, who are Charlie Hunnam and Dakota Johnson?

Charlie Hunnam is a British actor who you may recognise from Queer as Folk, Pacific Rim or American television show Sons of Anarchy.

Dakota Johnson is the daughter of Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith. Her previous work includes supporting roles in The Social Network and The Five-Year Engagement.

The film will be directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson, and is set to be released on August 1st, 2014. Those two are about to get really famous.
