7 things that look awesome about the new Wes Anderson film

It’s just love and stolen art, darling.

IT HAS BEEN described as ‘The Avengers’ of Wes Anderson films.

And we can see why.

Here is a list of things we’re loving about the new film. And we’ve only seen the trailer!

1. The cast

Now this is what you call star power – Ralph Fiennes, Edward Norton, Tilda Swinton, Saoirse Ronan, Willem Dafoe, Harvey Keitel, Owen Wilson, Jude Law, Bill Murray, Adrien Brody, Jeff Goldblum, Jason Schwartzman, Tom Wilkinson. Unreal!

2. The poster

Understated whimsy. That’s so Wes Anderson.

Also, the poster was designed by Dublin-dwelling artist Annie Atkins, who worked as the lead graphic designer on the film.

3. Serious actors letting their hair down

Ralph Fiennes has played some incredibly harrowing roles in the past (most notably, Voldemort) but he looks like he is having a ball with this character!

4. Saoirse Ronan acting in her own accent

It’s the first time she’s got to use her Irish accent in a movie!

5. The oldest cougar we’ve seen on film

Tilda Swinton plays an 84-year-old woman who has an affair with Ralph Fiennes! You go, girl.

6. Willem Dafoe back on our big screens

He’s been very quiet recently. It’s nice to see him back – he has such range.

7. Spectacular facial hair

A staple of virtually every Wes Anderson movie.
