The true 99 has finally arrived in America thanks to an Irish bar in New York
PASSAGE IRISH BAR in Astoria, New York has won a reputation for itself by serving some audaciously Irish creations on its food menu.
Like the black pudding burger, the Irish Breakfast Flatbread and a very New York curry cheese chip.
But now they’ve outdone themselves again by introducing a proper Irish 99 to the menu – including a Cadbury Flake

As they wrote on their Facebook page:
Boom indeed.
It might be a bit on the small side going by the photo, but their commitment to replicating the proper Irish 99 with a legit flake has to be admired
The bar is named after Passage East in Co Waterford – where the owner originally hails from – so they have a fine 99 tradition to live up to.
The 99 is tasty enough to go global, surely. And this could be the start of it.
