TWITTER POWERHOUSE Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria were among the more famous guests at James Gandolfini’s funeral yesterday.

Shortly afterwards, the Daily Mail published this article under the byline of George Stark, claiming that Hilaria had tweeted during the service. (An allegation she denies.)

Alec wasn’t happy.

He begun in a relatively restrained fashion, tweeting:

Someone wrote that my wife was tweeting at a funeral. Hey. That’s not true. But I’m gonna tweet at your funeral.

Three hours later, his blood was up. Over a period of seven minutes or so, he unleashed the following barrage:

George Stark, you lying little bitch. I am gonna f%#@ you up.
I want all of my followers and beyond to straighten out this fucking little bitch, George Stark.
My wife and I attend a funeral to pay our respects to an old friend, and some toxic Brit writes this fucking trash

If [sic] put my foot up your fucking ass, George Stark, but I’m sure you’d dig it too much
I’m gonna find you, George Stark, you toxic little queen, and I’m gonna fuck…you…up.

Gawker has a screen grab of all the tweets.

Alec appears to have since deleted his Twitter account, which was in the name of the Alec Baldwin Foundation. His bio stated that the foundation was “supporting the arts and artists, amateur and professional.”

Meanwhile, Hilaria has denied that she brought a phone into the funeral:

She explained that there may have been confusion owing to the fact that retweets display the timestamp of the original tweet, rather than the time they were retweeted.

Famously, Alec Baldwin previously called his 11-year-old daughter a “rude, thoughtless little pig” in a voicemail after she did not answer her phone, adding: “You don’t have the brains or the decency as a human being.”
