Just a month after they appeared on camera expressing gratitude for Australia’s “strong, biosecurity laws,” Amber Heard and Johnny Depp have announced that they are getting divorced. TMZ reports that Heard filed for divorce on Monday, citing irreconcilable differences.

Here’s what we know.

  • The divorce marks the end of a ‘year of hell’ in Australia. (Daily Mail)
  • Johnny Depp‘s family, including his Mam and kids, reportedly ‘hated’ Amber. (TMZ)
  • The divorce comes just days after Johnny Depp‘s Mam died. (People)
  • They did not have a prenup. This is juicy because Depp is estimated to be worth $400 million. (ET)
  • As if all that weren’t enough, Australia’s deputy prime minister is mercilessly trolling Johnny Depp and claims that he’s “inside” his head like Hannibal Lecter. (New York Times)

WHEW. That’s a lot to take in.

RIP, Amber and Johnny.

Orange is the New Black’s Dascha Polanco (aka Dayanara) has hit out those ‘Who Wore It Better?’ segments. Polanco recently showed up to an event wearing the same address as a Venezuelan TV host Daniela Di Giacomo.

The two ladies laughed about it and dismissed it on Instagram…

…but the show El Gordo y La Flaca decided to pit them against one another, mocking how Polanco looked in her dress.

In response, Polanco condemned the show for “bullying” and inspiring negative comments about her weight.

It’s really tasteless to come across today that a host of @univision@elgordoylaflaca have used poor choices of words that have become offensive.  They have created an environment in which it has ignited bullying across their platforms & has instigated against my weight due to the same dress being worn by one of their host and I last night.
Interesting that they chose to glorify something so superficial like this, and not focus on the issues Latinos face in Hollywood. I don’t get how they allow their reporters to use profanity to make noise.

Can’t we just say everyone looked stunning and move on? (Cosmopolitan)

The Stephanie Davis/Jeremy McConnell saga continues. Last night, McConnell seemed to suggest on Twitter that Davis was lying about her pregnancy.

Yesterday, Davis accused McConnell of not turning up to scans or showing interest in being a father.

Yesterday evening, McConnell hit back and pleaded with Davis to let him live.

And told a follower that she’s “not pregnant”.

Because her mates have told him as much?

Now the pair are busy writing actual essays about one another on Twitter.

Too much drama for this time of the day, tbh. (Heat)

And the rest of the day’s dirt…

  • Kate Middleton calls Prince William ‘babe’. So now. (The Pool)
  • Amanda Holden posed in the nip for PETA. (Daily Mail
  • Jennifer Aniston‘s Mam has passed away. (US Weekly)
  • Professor Green and Millie Mackintosh got a ‘quickie’ divorce. Love is dead. (3AM)
  • Screech from Saved By The Bell was arrested again :( (E! Online)
