An Post just delivered this letter with a hand-drawn map instead of an address to Wexford
Reddit Reddit
LAST MONTH, A letter sent to Iceland with no address was successfully delivered – and all because the location was drawn on the front as a little map.
It went viral across the internet, with the Icelandic postal service getting serious kudos for their work.
Today, An Post matched it by delivering this letter to Hook Lighthouse in Wexford – again with only a map on the front to guide them

“Here please” – with an arrow pointing to the iconic lighthouse was all they had to go on

The letter came from Dublin man David Curran - who runs the blog Me Versus An Post, which gained popularity last year thanks to some of the outrageous challenges met by the posties in Ireland.
David tells DailyEdge.ie that the Iceland map was his inspiration to do it now, however:
What was really surprising to him though, was that he only sent it yesterday:
Hook Lighthouse were only delighted to receive it as well
Fair play indeed.
The only other local landmark to make the map was Loftus Hall - the “most haunted house in Ireland”

With an appropriate ghost, just in time for Halloween.
Watch out Íslandspóstur, An Post have just matched your impressive map-reading skills. Whatever next?
