An Post proved themselves again by delivering *this* letter from Germany to Waterford

“I forgot the street name but it’s near a street called Cul de Sac.”

TIME AND AGAIN, An Post have proved that they can basically deliver anything – and 2016 was a banner year for them.

And today, the Ray D’Arcy Show on RTÉ Radio 1 produced another barely believable example of their fine work.

Petra in Waterford was sent this letter her German cartoonist friend Kai – and it dropped in the letterbox this morning

Post (1) RTE RTE

The only distinguishable features were the names and this description:

unfortunately I forgot the street name but it’s near a street named Cul de Sac
The beautiful city of WATERFORD

And Kai included a timely compliment too:

Well known for its kindly postmen

The key though? Ireland written in big capital letters at the bottom and underlined twice.

The best international postcode that’s ever existed <3
