Anchorman 2 stars hit Dublin red carpet, sign some faces... generally remain classy
FOLLOWING WHAT MAY well have been the most sustained promotional campaign for any entertainment event (it started over a year-and-a-half ago with this Ron Burgundy appearance on Conan) the first Irish fans finally got to see what all the hype was about this evening as Anchorman 2 had its Dublin premiere.
With the notable exception of lady-newscaster Veronica Corningstone, the entire Channel 4 news team — along with director Adam McKay — were on hand at the Savoy to pose for selfies, stage comically mistimed high-fives and autograph whatever happened to come into their field of vision.
Things escalated really quickly…
