Anchorman 2 is being re-released to Irish cinemas, in a new version with new ruder jokes.

The re-release comes in at more than two hours long and features what the press materials call “763 all-new jokes, give or take”.

It’s also now rated 15, suggesting that the directors have inserted new filth to corrupt innocent audiences.

The new cut – called Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, Continued – will be released on February 28 and will run in Irish cinemas for one week only.

Director Adam McKay says it’s not for the casual fan. No, this is only for people who can already quote both movies in their entirety and infuriate their friends by doing so.

If you’re a hardcore Anchorman fan, go see this. If you’re not, stay very far away.
