Yes. It only gets disgusting otherwise.
Not every time... but most of the time.

Only when I notice that it's especially icky.

A couple of hours, tops.
Overnight. Tried and tested, no stink.
Minutes. I only put it on when I know I'll be there to take them out immediately.
Umm...so long that I have to put them on again?

Yes. Everything is kept in its proper place at all times.
Sometimes I leave some shoes hanging around but yeah, mostly.
