ARIEL FROM THE Little Mermaid is one of the most iconic redheads of all time. (Along with Joan from Mad Men and Julianne Moore, of course.)
Yes, redheaded ladies have always viewed Ariel as one of their own — a kindred spirit, if you will.
Which makes this news all the more difficult to process.
It has been confirmed that a forthcoming live action remake of The Little Mermaid will feature Ariel with… blonde hair.
Chloe Grace Moretz, who is set to portray the mermaid in the film, made the startling revelation in an interview earlier this week.
