MAYO’S ASHFORD CASTLE has just been named the best hotel in the world.

So in true DailyEdge.ie fashion, we’ve gone for a proper nose around inside (and outside).

Here’s what we’ve learned…

They show up to three films every day and hold a nightly screening of The Quiet Man. We can only imagine how much the popcorn costs, never mind the few Maltesers to lob into it.
