TOMORROW, AUNGIER DANGER will officially open on Dublin’s… you guessed it… Aungier Street.
Opening in the space left vacant by the Rolling Donut (don’t worry, the O’Connell St kiosk is still there), the new deli is promising fresh donuts made on the premises every day.
And there’s a unique selling point: When the donuts are gone, the shop closes.
Phil, the man behind Aungier Danger, told DailyEdge.ie that they’ll open tomorrow morning, and every morning, at 7.30am.
But whenever the last donut is sold, the shutter will come down.
Clocking in at €3 a pop the luxury doughnuts come with names like The Crime Scene:
And the Cherry Gunshot:
There’s also the Banofee Autopsy (on the right there) and a white glazed ring donut which doesn’t have a name yet. Any suggestions?
DailyEdge.ie was treated to a sneaky sample, and they are fresh, sticky and as dangerous as they come.
Aungier Danger will also be serving coffee by The Barn, and a small range of sandwiches: Chia and Pulled Chicken and Pastrami on Cornbread to start off with.
Check them out on on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
