This looks excellent.

BARRY KEOGHAN IS kinda taking Hollywood by storm, and he’s doing it silently but skillfully.

The young Dublin actor starred in hits such as The Killing of a Sacred Deer and Dunkirk this year.

Last week, he jetted out to Utah to attend Sundance Film Festival with the cast of his upcoming flick, American Animals.

The movie has been described as the ‘buzzy Sundance heist flick’, and is a true story about a group of college students who plan a valuable book and art heist.

The real planning took place in Lexington, Kentucky, back in 2004, and was the subject of a lengthy Vanity Fair article.

It also stars Evan Peters of American Horror Story fame, and lesser-known actors Blake Jenner (Glee) and Jared Abrahamson.

The film has been described as ‘a brilliant mix of heist film and documentary style interviews’, as well as being ‘very funny’.

Another lucky viewer said it was:

Equal parts funny and exciting, had a lot of fun watching this one. The cast, lead by the dynamic Barry Keoghan and Evan Peters, really shined.

Variety says Keoghan has become ‘ever-more-intriguing’, with another reviewer saying he’s the most exciting of the bunch.

The praise keeps on coming

Intriguing.

The film is currently on the prowl for a distributor at the festival, but we doubt they’ll be left waiting.
