Just weeks ago, Wicklow wrestler Finn Bálor became the first ever WWE Universal champion at the SummerSlam 2016.

Last night, the Irish were well represented at the WWE Backlash, with Dubliner and former DIT student Rebecca Quinn aka Becky Lynch, winning the women’s title.
