Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have 'called off their divorce' at the last minute... it's the Dredge

All the celeb dirt.

EVERY WEEKDAY MORNING, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the best of the day’s celebrity dirt from the top to the very bottom.

It turns out that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s official split hasn’t actually happened yet – and the couple have called off the divorce plans and are “working toward staying together.”

Well now.

Famously, the couple stayed living together with their kids after their separation was announced in 2015 – but People Magazine reported yesterday that the divorce is off:

“Jen has called off the divorce,” a source close to Garner tells PEOPLE in the latest issue. “She really wants to work things out with Ben. They are giving things another try.”

Innnteresting.

So, it turns out that Conor McGregor is a massive fan of RTÉ’s Dancing With The Stars.

What.

Not just that, but he gave comedian Katherine Lynch a “pep talk” after she was booted off the show on Sunday night.

This is surreal.

As The Irish Sun reports today, Katherine said Conor got in touch after the elimination:

Conor told me I was already the winner of Dancing With The Stars because of the entertainment value I brought to the show, which is what Conor said he tried to bring to all his fights.

And it turns out The Notorious picked up the phone to vote too:

I know Conor voted for me again last Sunday because his mum told me. He gave her a present of a new Rolex watch that night and they were watching Dancing With The Stars before they went out for the night.

Beyoncé, Madonna, John Legend and Coldplay were among the celebrities who penned an open letter for International Women’s Day yesterday.

They highlighted “this critical moment in history.”

The signees – also including Julia Roberts, Freida Pinto, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Dakota Johnson and Salma Hayek - wrote in the open letter on behalf of Global Citizen and Chime for Change:

All over the world, women are on the frontlines fighting for our future. Yet millions of girls and women are still denied basic equal rights. And recent policies and appointments in the United States jeopardize its position as a global leader and positive role model on human rights. We stand together to say, in a voice louder than ever, that fighting for gender equality is the emergency and the opportunity of our time.

And concluded:

We believe that connection empowers us. That every voice matters. That each one of us is needed to achieve change. We believe we can do extraordinary things when we come together.
