LAST WEEK IN-N-OUT Burger came to town for one day only.
They sold out in about two hours and they won’t be coming back. But what do we need them for, when we’ve got this lot?…
5. Pornburger at Cleaver East
A monthly rotation of burger delights at Cleaver East means that every few weeks they have a new #Pornburger on offer. This month it’s the Bernard Brogan and it’s spectacular:
Rarebreed Pork Burger with Braised Pork Ribs, Savoy Cabbage and Onion Slaw, Dubliner Vintage Cheddar Cheese, Pickle Carrot Ribbons and a Boxty Potato Cake Bun’
Other incarnations have included the #BradPitt:
And the #ItalianJob:
4. Ricks Burger, Dame Street
Ever tried one at a time other than 3am? They’re fantastic. Have one for lunch. Go on.
3. Aussie BBQ
This place on South Richmond Street is a relative newcomer to the ‘Must Try Burgers’ list in Dublin but it’s becoming a firm favourite. The queues can be long but the burgers are worth it.
2. Wowburger
When In-N-Out Burger came to Dublin for one day only last week, Wowburger found itself playing second fiddle. But playing second fiddle to In-n-Out is nothing to be sniffed at as queues of disappointed meat lovers headed upstairs at the Workman’s Club to be Wow-ed after In-n-Out sold out.
1. Bunsen Burger
The undisputed king of the Dublin burger. Made to order, deliciously fresh and now in two locations (Camden Street and Temple Bar).
