8 of the best margaritas to have in Dublin

One tequila, two tequila, three tequila, floor.

A GOOD MARGARITA is hard to find. Not to worry, we’ve found the best.

1. Acapulco, George’s Street

The ultimate margarita, and without-a-doubt crowned king of the frozen margs in all of Dublin. If you go to Acapulco and don’t have one of these with your meal, why are you even going at all?

2. Trocadero, Andrew Street

Fine food with even finer cocktails.

3. The secretive 777, George’s Street

This lot know their tequila. They also do margarita Mondays, with two for €12 all night.

It's that time of the year to look back and ask yourself: How many 777 #Margaritas did I drink in 2014? and How many more can I squeeze in before New Year? Well, how many has it been? #DublinRestaurants #LovinDublin #Cocktails #CocktailPorn #Tequila #NewYear #2015 #NewYear2015 777dublin 777dublin

4. The Green Hen, Exchequer Street

A favourite on top cocktail lists. The Green Hen won’t entirely ruin margaritas for you, but they’ll make you up your standards considerably.

5. Taco Taco, Dame Court

This new pop up serves some of the tastiest nachos in the city, which are the perfect accompaniment to their excellent jugs of margaritas.

6. Dillingers, Ranelagh

From the same crowd that brought you 777, so you don’t even have to venture into town for the lime kick.

#Margaritas aren't just for Monday. They're perfect with any #Brunchtastic #Brunch dish. And we have a secret recipe from @777dublin! #LovinDublin #Dublin #Ranelagh #Cocktails #Tequila #SundayBrunch #Sunday dillingersdublin dillingersdublin

8. Bodkins Bar, Bolton Street

Home to the Hungry Mexican, Bodkin’s have mastered the margarita and offer a ton of types, such as a blue one, a light beer, catalina, fizzy, and Cape Cod margarita with sour mix and cranberry. Sure you can even stick with the plain stuff, at €15 a litre.
