WHEN IT’S GROSS outside and all you want to do is get back into bed, let one of Dublin’s finest toasties get you through the day.
1. Grogans Lounge
The undisputed champion of Dublin toasties. So simple, so comforting, so gooey, and so perfect with a pint of Guinness to wash it down.
2. The International
Fancy some comedy and a pipping hot sloppy cheese toastie? The International’s haul looks like they’ve been made by your mammy and tastes like it too.
3. Kehoes
This South Anne Street haunt doesn’t serve you up anything fancy like chips or salad, no, it’s just one quality toastie.
4. Peters Pub
Possibly one of the most underrated toasties in Dublin. They cut it up into four little segments like they’re all fancy.
5. The Stags Head
Bitta salad, a few chips, and a LOT of ham in that ham and cheese toastie.
6. Fallons
Pure, gooey, crunchy mess.
7. Delaney’s
Hidden in Smithfield, this old man pub doesn’t do much food, but it sure does make a mean toastie.
