Beyoncé and Jay Z have welcomed their twins, and are absolutely 'thrilled'

The new babies are siblings to the couple’s daughter Blue Ivy, who is five years old.

RING THE ALARM: Beyoncé and Jay Z’s twins are here.

A source confirmed to People magazine that the singer gave birth a few days ago, and she and Jay are delighted.

Bey and Jay are thrilled and have started sharing the news with their family and closest friends.

Fans were speculating all last week that Beyoncé had already had the twins, but was keeping things on the down low – and they may not have been far wrong.

The genders of the twins are not yet known, but former US President Barack Obama seemed to spill the beans on Friday.

In a video speech played as Jay Z was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, he said:

Jay Z and I are also fools for our daughters, although he’s gonna have me beat once those two twins show up.

Obama has two daughters, so the only way Jay would have him ‘beat’ would be if he had… twin girls. How and ever, a woman was spotted going in to the LA hospital Bey was rumoured to be giving birth in carrying blue and pink balloons with an envelope attached saying ‘B & J’.

More information as we get it. Happy twins day, everyone.
