Beyoncé reminds us not to mess with Beyoncé

Girl can sing. Any questions?

SO HOW SHOULD a singer come back from a lip-synching controversy?

By filling a room full of reporters, donning a snazzy dress and belting out the American National Anthem a capella. Oh, AND NAILING IT.

Beyoncé finally addressed the did she/didn’t she question of the Presidential inauguration at a press conference ahead of her Super Bowl appearance this Sunday. (In short: She sang along to a pre-recorded track because of the weather…and a lack of practice…and a delay which meant she had no time for a sound check with the orchestra…and she’s a perfectionist so she didn’t want to mess up…and, anyway, it wasn’t about her, it was Barack’s day).

Here’s how today’s press conference went down. Make sure to watch to the end, when the Queen of America Destiny’s Child singer finished her killer performance with a giggle and a dare, “Any questions?”

The first question to come from the audience was obvious. And here’s how Bey dealt with it, smoothly. We love you again, Bey.

By the way, she said she will “absolutely be singing live” on Sunday. “This is what I was born to do,” she told the room full of fans journalists.
