Bob Geldof just got kicked off Sky News for saying 'Bollocks'
BOB GELDOF IS currently promoting Band Aid 30, the charity single raising funds for the battle against Ebola.
He was asked on Sky News earlier today about criticism of the track. Specifically, the suggestion that if all the wealthy pop stars involved paid their taxes and gave some money, there would be no need for it.
His response? “Bollocks.”
The presenter then proceeded to question him about criticisms of the track as patronising to Africa and Africans, and asked him to answer “less colourfully”.
Geldof’s response? You guessed it…
Producers then cut Geldof’s mic – leaving him moving his lips, with no sound audible – while the presenter axed the interview on the spot.
