Finally, Bono reveals why he never takes off his sunglasses
IT’S A QUESTION we have all asked ourselves at one stage or another. Why does Bono always wear shades, even indoors? Is he that much above his station? Has he got too much dedication to the whole rockstar thing?
Well, the U2 frontman has finally provided us with some answers.
Appearing on the Graham Norton show, Bono told the Irish funnyman that he has a very good reason to be wearing shades–he has suffered with glaucoma for the past 20 years. The condition can make eyes more sensitive to light, but Bono reassured the audience that he has good treatment and ‘is going to be fine’.
