Better Call Saul will be 'more dark than it is funny'
WE HAVE A Breaking Bad sized gap in our lives that needs filling.
Hold tight, it was confirmed last month that Walter White’s morally corrupt lawyer, Saul Goodman is getting his own spin off, ‘Better Call Saul’.
In an interview with Salon.com, Bob Odenkirk, the actor who plays Goodman, said that the series will be more dark than funny:
We trust Odenkirk will be able to achieve the balance, he’s a stand-up comedian, having previously written for Saturday Night Live yet still managed to maintain a level of sincerity when advising White on what criminal activity he may have to do to stay on the right side of the law.
The New York Times reports that ‘Better Call Saul’ will be a prequel rather than a sequel, initially to keep Saul’s fate in the original series up in the air. No air date as been announced just yet.
