MORE ACCUSTOMED TO sipping on some fine wine while they browse, the shoppers in Dublin’s Brown Thomas might soon have another drinking option.

A nice pint.

As TheJournal.ie reports, BTs applied in court today for a full pub licence relating to its refurbishment plans for a new restaurant on the third floor.

An order was granted that means if their new restaurant sticks to planning permission, it will be able to use that pub license.

Imagine the possibilities

While the store already has a wine license in its restaurant, this is the first time they will have the ability to serve pints if the full pub license is granted.

A new frontier for city centre shopping in Dublin.
