A deadly animated Buffy intro by an Irish artist is going insanely viral

Why is this not real?

IRISH ARTIST STEPHEN Byrne has been taking the Buffy fandom by storm this week. The animator has created an intro to a hypothetical animated series of Buffy the Vampire Slayer which has gone insanely viral, with Buffy fanatics pleading for it to become an actual thing.

We couldn’t agree more.

The video now stands at almost half a million views after it was uploaded last Tuesday, with media in the states championing the very notion that this HAS to exist

Buffy and Giles even tweeted a link to the video. That’s it half made

An actual animated Buffy was developed in the early 00s but was never fully made. Byrne’s includes some great Easter Eggs for Buffy fans, as well as a glimpse at ghosts we’d rather forget ever became ghosts. Visit Stephen’s Facebook to see more of his artwork and-or ask him to create this entire series from scratch.

No bother.
