CAPTAIN MORGAN’S SPICED rum, a staple of many an Irish night out.
But what to mix it with?
The Irish love affair with combining a Morgans with fizzy orange got us thinking about the best (and easily accessible) accompaniments to the Captain’s brew.
Morgans and orange juice
Who said it had to be fizzy? Spiced rum, orange juice and plenty of ice. Not too shabby. Bartending for Dummies recommends a standard pub measure (35.5ml) with around 150ml of OJ.
Morgans and 7-up/Sprite
It really does.
Morgans and Coke (or Pepsi. Choose your poison)
The original, and for some, the best.
Morgans and Fanta
Morgans and Club Orange
Surely the bits can only improve the Super Split experience?
According to YBig.ie user IrishMUFC back in July 2012 he:
… had this last night. Never heard of this mixture before but have to admit it’s f**kin lovely. Was buckled after a few of them.
There you have it. F**kin lovely.
Morgans and ginger ale
Add a squeeze of fresh lime and you’re away.
