AS SHE WON her BAFTA for best actress, Cate Blanchett chose not to spend too long thanking her family, colleagues or religious deities.
Instead, she delivered this heartfelt tribute to the late Philip Seymour Hoffman – calling him a “monumental presence” and dedicating her award to his memory.
