A sick little Monaghan boy is getting messages from police officers around the world
A FEW MONTHS ago, we told you about Ceejay McArdle, a three-year-old boy from Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan.
McArdle is currently undergoing treatment for leukemia and dreams of becoming a guard when he’s all grown up.
Back in September, he paid a visit to Garda HQ in Phoenix Park and got to become an honorary officer for the day.
Here he is in action.
And now, police officers from all over the world are reaching out to little Ceejay to send him supportive messages.
Like this lovely message from Toronto Police.
Or these touching messages from the NYPD.
Or this one from his colleagues in 51 Division, Toronto.

Someone even went to the trouble of making this little badge for him.
Ceejay’s Mam tells DailyEdge.ie that the family are “eternally grateful” for the messages of support they have received from all over the world.
And Ceejay had this message for well-wishers.
Lovely.
