Ed Sheeran, Eminem and Bella Hadid ... it's our celeb winners and losers of the week

The winner takes it all, the loser stands so small.

DailyEdge praises those who rocked the week in celebland, while keeping a watchful eye on those who should just log off forever.

Losers

Bella Hadid

Poor Bells might have been #winning after turning 21 this week, but not before she became the Internet’s latest victim.

The supermodel gave a particularly cringe-worthy interview to Complex Magazine on the subject of sneakers.

During the interview, the Nike spokesmodel discusses her shoe dos and don’ts when it comes to the guy she is dating.

Pointing to a pair of shoes on the wall, Hadid commented: “If homeboy’s coming through with these, it’s quiet for him.

“But if homeboy comes through in like … these,” she said, pointing to a pair of Air Maxes,.

You got some Airmaxes out here, you got some Jordans, homeboy is gonna like… get it.”

The memes came like clockwork.

Ed Sheeran

Yeah, those massive Sheero gigs due to be held in Phoenix Park next year? Don’t hold your breath about them.

Members of Fingal County Council say local residents were not consulted before the gig licence was granted.

The concerts were originally set to take place near the Ashtown Gate entrance, but Fianna Fáil councillor Howard Mahoney says there are more suitable areas within the park:

It’s a huge inconvenience for residents. We could have what happened at Croke Park for Garth Brooks. If they have it in a more central location, for example the Wellington monument or near the Papal Cross, it will be at least controllable.”

Eeek!

Winners

James Corden

Liam Gallagher’s done a U-turn and decided he doesn’t actually hate the television presenter after all. That’s nice, isn’t it?

Earlier this year, Liam harshly slammed Corden and his Carpool Karaoke, and said there was “no f**king chance” that he’d be willing to appear on the show.

After making an appearance on The Late Late Show to perform one of his new tracks ‘Wall of Glass’ Liam tweeted about James, calling him ‘a fine chap’.

“As you were”, indeed.

Eminem

Eminem was widely praised for his new freestyle disstrack called The Storm, which eviscerated President Trump.

Citing the President’s stance on immigration, the military and the recent controversy about NFL players’ right to peacefully protest, Eminem had a message for his fans:

And any fan of mine who’s a supporter of his, I’m drawing in the sand a line. You’re either for or against, and if you can’t decide who you like more and you’re split on who you should stand beside, I’ll do it for it for you with this. Fuck you.”
