This one’s unfortunate. Poor Katy Perry dropped her teaser for her new video for Swish Swish on the same day Taylor Swift came out of the woodwork after three silent years.

When she eventually released it on Thursday, it was baaaad. Well, not Emoji movie bad, just Adam Sandler movie bad.

Not only has the Bray woman been thrown around as a potential host for Ireland’s Got Talent, she’s also confirmed her romance with the surprisingly hot Love Island narrator and comedian, Iain Stirling with a photo of the pair on the sesh in Edinburgh.

Where were you when Taylor dropped the first snake video on Twitter? The world literally, literally stood still at 4pm on Monday August 21st when Taylor dropped her first teaser for her new single.

What followed was a painful countdown to one of the greatest songs in the world. A true winner, indeed.
