Looooosers

Alex Rodriguez

Womanising baseball player Alex Rodriguez is currently going out with the luminous Jennifer Lopez, but an old ex of his has been causing some trouble.

Various gossip sites are reporting that the woman, who had a fling with Alex in 2014, is threatening to leak private messages from him about their sex life if he doesn’t pay her $600,000.

For now, J Lo is standing by her man, and A-Rod’s legal team is reportedly preparing to go to the police if she keeps harassing him. *gets popcorn*

Vogue Williams

Well. Vogue Williams caused no end of consternation earlier this week when she called for the internment of Muslims in her Sunday World column.

Next to a photo of her posing in a bikini, she said that even though internment did not work with IRA members in Northern Ireland, we should be giving it a go with Muslim terrorism suspects.

Her column was met with complete bafflement and disgust – but lead to her being labelled ‘defiant’ by the Daily Mail for going outside wearing a dress.

Right.

Ariel Winter’s mam

Ariel Winter has had a tough time, family-wise – last year, the Modern Family actress emancipated herself from her mother Chrisoula Workman, claiming she emotionally and physically abused her. Workman has denied all the allegations, but decided to criticize her daughter via the press anyway:

She needs to grow up, I would tell her to dress properly… I feel sad that she feels the need to expose herself when it’s not necessary. Ariel is smart, beautiful and talented. She does not need to do this.

Ariel’s response was short and (not so) sweet.

And the winners

Ariana Grande

Obviously. She pulled together one heck of a benefit concert for the victims of the Manchester attack, put on an amazing performance, and comported herself with the utmost grace and strength throughout what must be a very difficult situation. We tip our hats to you, Ariana.

Halle Berry

16th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball F. Sadou / PA Wire F. Sadou / PA Wire / PA Wire

Love this: Halle Berry rocked up to an event last weekend and posed for a few photos with her hands on her stomach, leading people to believe she was hinting at a pregnancy.

She isn’t pregnant – just eating good, as they say. She posted on Instagram asking “Can’t a girl have some steak and fries?”

You CAN, Halle. But now you’ve made us hungry.

Taylor Swift

64th Annual BMI Pop Awards - Arrivals Sammi / PA Wire Sammi / PA Wire / PA Wire

Katy Perry has been running her mouth about her feud with Taylor Swift (gotta promote that new album somehow) and Taylor did not retaliate… until yesterday, AKA the day said album was released.

What did she do? She decided to put all her music back on Spotify, after dramatically pulling it from the streaming service in 2014. That is masterful shade.
