Is the cereal café ACTUALLY coming to Dublin? We have answers

Will you be able to buy an expensive bowl of Frosties in Dublin soon? Well…

IS DUBLIN ABOUT to get its own cereal café?

That’s the question on everyone’s lips today after The Irish Times published an article entitled “People of Stoneybatter prepare to be gentrified”.

In the article, journalist Brian Boyd writes that the Belfast brothers behind Cereal Killer Café, Alan and Gary Keery, “want to open a branch in Dublin this year” and posits that, if and when it opens, it “can only be located in Stoneybatter”.

That statement caused many to wonder if we were *actually* getting our very own cereal café…

Rubberbandits even weighed in on the whole thing…

But is Dublin actually getting its own cereal café?

Cereal Killer Café’s people told DailyEdge.ie that it’s still very much in the planning stages and that a location has yet to be confirmed.

The twins are in discussions regarding the Dublin site but nothing is 100% set in stone yet. They’re looking to collaborate with a licence holder.

When pressed on whether they anticipate opening a café in Dublin in 2016, we were told that it was “too early to say”.

So there you have it.
