THERE IS NO explanation for how this happened, but it once again proves that everyone has a doppelganger out there.
Sometimes you might have to go back centuries to find yours, though.
Look at this image spotted in a museum in Venice, Italy this week
Right in the centre, you will spot this man chilling in all his finery
Whoever he was, he is the absolute spits of beloved former RTÉ newsman Charlie Bird
Dara Keane sent the image into DailyEdge.ie told us how he stumbled upon the Renaissance version of the ex RTÉ broadcaster:
I have just returned from Venice and inside the Doges Palace, in the room next to the bridge of sighs I came across this portrait of ruling Venetians from centuries ago. My wife and I recognised one as the spitting image of Charlie Bird.
How has no Irish visitor to Venice come across this epic likeness before?
There he is, amongst his other Venetian rulers
The resemblance is truly uncanny.
A wonderful glitch in the matrix.
hat-tip to Dara Keane for sending in the images
