Redditor mikeferguson84 shared the latest fail, with the Englishman explaining:

My brother’s in Nairobi, went out for a meal and ordered cheesy onion rings.

The post blew up, with this photo of pure disappointment being shared thousands of times.

The LADBible posted it to their Facebook page, and people soon began sharing their own cultural culinary disappointments.

That’s as good as our fries covered in cheese from Cambodia hahaha
