THIS LOGIC QUESTION was part of the Singapore and Asian Schools Maths Olympiads – a mathematics competition for teenage pupils held last week.

And since then, practically everyone on the internet has been trying to solve it.
It’s very difficult.
People can’t agree on an answer.
