Christina Aguilera has been spotted in Dublin and people are in speculation overdrive wondering why

The rumours are rife that she’s here for a private concert.

WE’VE HAD A decent summer of celebrity visits to Ireland with Katie Holmes and Meghan Markle making the trip over to have a look at us. We can now add another A-lister to that list as Christina Aguilera has been spotted around the place.

X-tina posted a nice shot of herself to her Instagram saying she was proud of her Irish roots. Aguilera’s mother is Irish-American and she spent a lot of her youth growing up in Irish-American neighbourhoods in New York.

A few lucky fans have managed to run into Christina around the place but people are now speculating as to why she’s here.

It seems a couple of her backing dancers, as well as her, make up artist and band have been posting on their social media about being in Dublin leading to fierce rumours about a possible secret concert.

One of her backing dancers posted a video on her stories entitled ‘Soundcheck with the crew’ but take from that what you will.

Naturally fans are pretty excited and curious as to what’s going on.

While others are just enjoying her caption.

Private concert or no private concert, it’s nice to see Christina soaking in the sights of Dublin which going by her Instagram post appears to be near the Drury Street carpark. Here’s hoping she stopped into Mary’s for a pint and a Wowburger.
