Family surprise daughter with lovely Christmas homecoming at Dublin Airport
DUBLIN AIRPORT IS certainly a happy place to be during the festive season, as families welcome home loved ones living abroad.
Carmel O’Connor from Limerick has spent Christmas in Brisbane for the past four years, so her family wanted to give her a special welcome home. With the help of Dublin Airport, they arranged a surprise performance from the trad music group Draíocht, which her younger brother Jack is a member of.
What they didn’t know was that Carmel had a surprise of her own…
Oh dear. We’re welling up. God bless us, everyone!
