A Cidona and whiskey cocktail has been created by this Dublin pop-up bar

Together at last.

THE JAR ON Dublin’s Wexford Street opened late last year – and has a reputation as a slick enough spot that serves Base pizza.

But for the next three nights it’s going to be transformed into a cocktail pop up.

And they’ll be serving Irish cocktails mixed with Club Orange, Club Lemon and Cidona

It’s called the Great Irish Beverages cocktail pop up and they describe what they’re all about on Facebook:

top class bartenders will be serving up deliciously made cocktails made with Irish gins and whiskies that will be mixed with Club Orange, Club Lemon and Cidona.

From October 12th until October 15th, The Club & Cidona Irish Cocktail Pop Up will strut its stuff.

Their Irish whiskey and Cidona mix sounds a little bit unreal:

Irish whiskey in a long iced glass, topped up with Cidona and finished with a squeezed lemon wedge. Ask for a dash or two of bitters to give it a little more spice! The honeyed, super smooth sweetness of Irish whiskey pairs beautifully with the sharp apple in the Cidona and the lemon gives the drink a great freshness and fragrance.

Another one being created is the Club Orange Fizz – Irish gin, fresh lime & lemon juice, Club Orange, sugar syrup, egg white and cream

The pop up is part of the Irish Cocktail Festival taking place around Ireland this week.
