Conor McGregor cropped this fan out of an Instagram photo, but she got the last laugh

“I want to take this opportunity to apologise… to absolutely nobody.”

LAST WEEK, CONOR McGregor posted a picture of himself sporting a mustard yellow jumper to Instagram. Not an unusual activity for Conor McGregor.

But who’s that person lurking to the left of the photo? What’s their story?

Well, it’s Erin Safran, an 18-year-old from Brooklyn and huge McGregor fan. She and her brother ran into the UFC star before his historic Madison Square Garden fight, and told Buzzfeed that McGregor was “lovely” about posing for a picture with them.

Safran tagged him in the photo on Instagram and, later on, got the shock of her life when she saw he had re-posted it to his own account – and cropped her out.

But there’s more. McGregor had originally uploaded the whole photo, and it was on Instagram for ten whole minutes before he decided to crop her out. Burn.

It’s OK though, because he got his comeuppance in the end. CROP THIS, MCGREGOR:

Of course she picked the perfect quote for the occasion: “I want to take this opportunity to apologise… to absolutely nobody.”

Erin, we like your style.
