Conor McGregor squared up to Richard Branson before a brief Twitter spat with Floyd Mayweather

Between this and renting out Funderland, he’s had a busy week.

LAST NIGHT DUBLIN’S Convention Centre hosted the Pendulum Summit, which is a summit focusing on business and self-empowerment.

Richard Branson and Keith Barry were among speakers at the event. When Richard Branson took to the stage, Conor McGregor joined him on stage to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award from Pendulum.

Branson’s not a big fan of neckties, and is known for chopping off the ties of people he meets.

Branson has previously said:

“I don’t know why the tie was ever invented. It’s about one of the few things that Britain has exported successfully and it completely destroyed those robes that the Japanese used to wear, and now everyone looks the same and dresses the same.”

Well, thankfully very few people dress like Conor McGregor, so he didn’t need a tie for his Tom Ford v neck. Because Conor McGregor had no tie for Richard Branson to cut, the billionaire tried to cut his jumper instead. This led to Conor McGregor removing his top all together, which we all know he’s very fond of doing. Branson decided to do the same.

They then squared up to one another for a joke.

It’s very unlikely that any audience members anticipated getting this much out of their tickets.

The public have found themselves quite unnerved by the whole thing.

Here’s a photo of Conor showing off his award after he put his clothes back on.

The evening’s excitement didn’t end in that car park.

Floyd Mayweather caught wind of Conor McGregor’s alleged run in with members of a Dublin gang and decided to tweet about it with some creative emojis.

Conor responded by saying “I am the cartel.”
