THERE’S NOTHING MORE frustrating than hitting a sneaky pothole in the back-arse of nowhere and having that absolute panic that you’re tyre has burst forever.

Some helpful soul in Clare decided to outline a particular offender in the hopes that someone would see it and answer the call.

They did, but the original poster probably wasn’t expecting a response.

Tom Feighery shared the unlikely road conversation to Imgur. He tells us:

I’m on holidays in Clare and was driving off the beaten track around the burren. I found [the markings] on a small county road not too far from Kilfenora. I was in the middle of nowhere!

Well, now all we need is someone to write ‘wash me off’ and we’re as good as new.
