Copper Face Jacks Facebook

Er, were you in Coppers on 28 December? Did you meet an American girl?

She has something to tell you…

A MESSAGE TO an Irish man from a California girl has come to our attention.

It’s been posted on Craigslist, the American personal ad website (kind of like an amalgamation of Boards.ie, Adverts.ie and Plenty of Fish), and if you’re an Irish man who met an American girl and helped her friends to get into Copper Face Jacks on 28 December, you might want to sit up and pay attention.

Dear Irishman, On December 28th you crossed the bar and kissed me before saying a word. We ended up at a hotel where all of the rooms were named after Irish celebrities.
You took my email address, but I haven’t heard from you and don’t have your contact information.
I have something to tell you.
The Girl from California.

She might just want to meet up with him again… she might have his jocks… or she might… (you can fill in the rest of the blanks yourself).

As for the mystery hotel? Could it be the Gresham? The rooms there are named after famous people who’ve stayed in them. Or is there another hotel that fits the bill?

Update: The Camden Deluxe also fits the bill… and seems a more likely option

We’ve been in touch with The Girl from California, so watch this space.

Mysterious Coppers

This isn’t the first time a Coppers-goer has been hunted down. Back in 2008 a nurse calling herself ‘Róisín’ contacted the Ray D’Arcy show after giving birth to a baby girl following a  meeting at the nightclub and a subsequent one night stand.

And in 2011 an ad placed in the Corkman News was urgently trying to track down a “Mark” who was in Copper Face Jacks after the Cork/Dublin match on 26 August 2010.
