LAST NIGHT, THERE was a distinctly emotional storyline involving Hayley and Roy Cropper.

If you don’t want the know the outcome of the tear-jerking plot that involved Cropper being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last autumn, then please: LOOK AWAY NOW.

Here’s how Twitter reacted to the news that Hayley Cropper had taken her own life in the face of her terminal illness. The aftermath of her death will be shown on Wednesday’s episode.

So sad. Poor old Hayley.
