IN A WEEK that saw Kerry’s Eye produce an early contender for the most Irish local newspaper headline of 2017, the Leinster Leader hit back with something special of their own today.

You see, Kildare county councillor Thomas Redmond has condemned the erection of a pole on a bridge in Kildangan, and the quotes were featured in today’s paper.
