Many tributes have been paid to the iconic Cranberries’ front woman and queen of Limerick, so here we take a look back at some of her most spine-tingling television performances of the 90s.
1. David Letterman
This is one of the earliest performances of Zombie, and still one of the most spectacular. Truly, a fuzzy snapshot of the band at their peak.
Named by Rolling Stone as one of the greatest SNL performances ever, this grainy YouTube recording confirms it. Dolores just defines ‘cool’ and I still feel a tinge of Irish pride whenever I watch it.
On Valentine’s Day. 1995, The Cranberries recorded a live session at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York for the Unplugged series. They performed with a full string ensemble and played nine songs. This track, Yesterday’s Gone, was never released, but it’s melancholy touch is perfect for the day that’s in it.

5. Later, with Jools Holland
The band performed No Need to Argue on the show back in June 1994. The perfect surroundings for them, their performance was as uplifting as it was haunting.

THE MUSIC INDUSTRY is mourning today after the news of Dolores O’Riordan’s death broke yesterday.
Many tributes have been paid to the iconic Cranberries’ front woman and queen of Limerick, so here we take a look back at some of her most spine-tingling television performances of the 90s.
