This clip from CSI: Cyber is so dumb it might make your brain hurt
SHOWS LIKE CSI are hardly known for their dialogue or logic, but this might just take the biscuit.
CSI: Cyber is the latest entrant into the CSI universe.
The show, which debuted in the United States this week, takes place within the FBI’s Cyber Crime Division and stars recent Oscar winner Patricia Arquette.
It’s not great.
Whoops!

The internet has seized on one scene in particular, which features some gloriously bad dialogue.
In the scene, Patricia Arquette and James Van Der Beek (aka Dawson Leery) are trying to figure out the location of kidnappers when Arquette’s character casually delivers the following line:
Wait, what?
Ah yeah, going to higher ground when you’ve kidnapped someone is just a part of evolution.
Totally a thing.
Whoops!

You know what else is an “evolutionary instinct”?
