This ‘CU in the NT’ unofficial tourism slogan is blowing up in Australia

Northern Territory, that is.

AUSTRALIAN SLANG IN full flow is an assault on the senses and a sight to behold.

And, as most people know, the word cu*t can often feature heavily – sure last year Buzzfeed even featured it as one of The Top 100 Most Australian Words of All Time.

And now an unofficial tourism campaign for Northern Territory has slyly put it front and centre - and they have merchandise

Lots of merchandise.

As Mashable reports, the NT official site is not authorised by the local government or any official authority:

Over the weekend, after the buzz had started about its choice of lettering, it was mis-reported that it was indeed official

Imagine.

Since Mashable and Mumbrella covered it down under, it’s blown up this morning online around the world.

And now it’s a standalone slogan

Has there ever been anything more Australian?
