Everyone is highly sceptical of this Daily Mail article on 'male' and 'female' brains

But it’s SCIENCE, you guys!

HEY, EVERYONE! Wondering why you’re not getting paid more? You’re just thinking wrong, silly.

According to a recent study by Dr Nick Drydakis, people with a ‘male brain’ (who may not necessarily be male) earn more than those with a ‘female brain’.

Dr Drydakis says that the ‘male brain’ is more analytic, while the female brain is empathetic – so to achieve more, we all must ‘think like a man’. Hmm.

The Daily Mail took this information and constructed a graphic with the so-called ‘traits’ of the male and female brains, none of which are mentioned in the actual study.

Male brains make to-do lists and spot grammatical errors, female brains are chatty and have little interest in hard facts and technical details.

Yeah, no one’s happy. Most are just outright calling bullsh*t:

Some people have problems with the characteristics being gendered at all, if they appear in both sexes:

Others are wondering if they even have a brain at all, according to Daily Mail standards:

Neuroscientist Dean Burnett summed it up neatly in one tweet…

Normal brains for all!
